Leprechaun 2

Leprechaun 2 movie

Hey, Friends! Stefanie and Courtney here from They’re Terrified & Tipsy, and we’re here to talk about the horror comedy movie Leprechaun 2. If you’re a fan of terrible movies with ridiculous plots and cheesy acting, then this is the movie for you. We watched it so you don’t have to, but if you do decide to watch it, make sure you’re tipsy enough to handle it.

Plot

The plot of Leprechaun 2 is pretty simple. The Leprechaun, who is apparently immortal, is looking for a bride and he has his sights set on a young woman named Bridget. She’s not interested in marrying a tiny, creepy leprechaun as you could expect but he’s not going to take no for an answer (ew). The Leprechaun will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means killing everyone in his way! The plot is so ridiculous that it’s almost entertaining, but not quite.

Acting

The acting in Leprechaun 2 is… well, it’s something. The Leprechaun is played by Warwick Davis, who does his best with the terrible script he’s been given. Unfortunately, the other actors aren’t quite up to par. They seem to be going for a “so bad it’s good” vibe, but they just end up being bad. You won’t find any award-winning performances in this movie, that’s for sure.

Special Effects

The special effects in Leprechaun 2 are about what you’d expect from a low-budget horror movie made in the 90s. There are a lot of fake-looking spiders, snakes, and other creepy crawlies. The Leprechaun himself looks pretty good, but that’s about it. The death scenes are over-the-top and ridiculous, but they’re not even remotely scary. They must’ve had a really low blood budget because surprisingly, there’s like no blood in this movie! Oh, and the special effects are definitely a low point of the movie.

Conclusion

So, there you have it. Leprechaun 2 is a terrible movie with a ridiculous plot, bad acting, and mediocre special effects. But if you’re in the mood for a laugh, and you don’t mind watching something that’s so bad it’s good (or just plain bad), then give it a shot. Just make sure you’re tipsy enough to handle it.
